You Are Invited As You ARE to Be a Part of Our Youth Community!
Our focus for youth ministry here at Sharon is two-fold: to minister to teens, and to minister alongside of teenagers. We firmly believe that God accepts us as we are, and for who we are, but at the same time expects us to grow and to mature in relationship with God through Christ. We see ourselves as God’s hands and feet as we serve our community and world, and as we encourage and support one another in life. We also believe that teens need a safe place to be loved and encouraged to discover who they are in Christ. We want and strive for deep relationships with one another and with God.
Our vision statement is: The way Sharon Student Ministries connects others to Life in Christ is to SERVE by LEADING other to Christ, OBEYING God’s call, PLAYING together, while EXPERIENCING the love of God (SLOPE for short!). We offer a variety of opportunities for teens to serve, lead, obey, play, and experience God through weekly Sunday Night fellowship, retreats, mission trips, community outreach and service.
We invite you to be a part!

17A man in the crowd answered, "Teacher, I brought you my son, who is possessed by a spirit that has robbed him of speech. 18 Whenever it seizes him, it throws him to the ground. He foams at the mouth, gnashes his teeth and becomes rigid. I asked your disciples to drive out the spirit, but they could not." 19 "You unbelieving generation," Jesus replied, "how long shall I stay with you? How long shall I put up with you? Bring the boy to me." 20 So they brought him. When the spirit saw Jesus, it immediately threw the boy into a convulsion. He fell to the ground and rolled around, foaming at the mouth. 21 Jesus asked the boy's father, "How long has he been like this?""From childhood," he answered. 22 "It has often thrown him into fire or water to kill him. But if you can do anything, take pity on us and help us." 23 " 'If you can'?" said Jesus. "Everything is possible for one who believes." 24 Immediately the boy's father exclaimed, "I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief !"
