News & Events for Students

Immersed

Our theme for 2010-2011 in the Student Ministry is focused on one word, immersed. The word comes from Peterson's Message in Psalm 139:7-12, where David reminds us that there is nowhere we can go to escape God, because "Oh, He even sees me in the dark! At night I am immersed in the light!"

Our goal will be to discover for ourselves what it means to immersed in God's Love, Presence, Word and Service. We will not be just dipping our toes in the water, so to speak, but jumping in and immersing ourselves in the lives He has created us for. So come join us this fall as we journey together through theme of being immersed in God!

6/5 @ 11:15: Graduate recognition

6/11 from 6:00 to 9:00 pm: Food, fun and fellowship with our friends at Quail Hollow and Good Shepherd Presbyterian churches. Free, friends welcome! Let's play some dodgeball and volleyball, and bring your nerf dart guns. Meet at Quail Hollow.

6/24 to 7/2: Sr. High mission trip. Space still available! $350--final payments due 6/1
