Welcome to Sharon United Methodist
Children's Ministry!

Who We Are
Welcome to Sharon United Methodist Children’s Ministry!  We value the importance of teaching and guiding our youngest members and guests and believe it is the responsibility of the entire church family to help our children develop their spirituality and reach their full potential.  Our dedicated volunteers strive not only to teach about God’s love, but also to show God’s love in their actions and attitudes.

Your Child's Safety
Sharon United Methodist Children's Ministry volunteers are trained in our Safe Sanctuary policy (look under "Forms" for a copy of this policy) and commit themselves each year to provide a safe environment for our children.

Programs
We offer a variety of programs and activities to instruct, to provide service opportunities and to allow for fellowship so that children feel connected to their church home.  We seek to be a partner with parents in raising their children, knowing that two combined influences working together can have a much greater impact.

Our Vision
Sharon United Methodist Children's Ministry will lead children to life rich in Christ by providing a safe, comfortable place where they can begin to understand God's love.  Our programs and activities are designed to help each child define and develop:
Real Relationships - with God, family and friends
Deep Discipleship - growing in their knowledge of what it means to follow Jesus
Selfless Service - learning to share the love of God with others

We hope to welcome you and your children soon!
